Barefoot & Blessed: Janhvi Kapoor Climbs 3,550 Steps to Tirupati as Peddi Ignites Theatres!
The wait is officially over! As Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor’s highly anticipated Telugu film Peddi hit theatres on Thursday amid absolute chaos and fan frenzy, Janhvi decided to kick off release day on a deeply spiritual note.
Before the box office numbers start rolling in, the actress headed straight to the revered Tirumala Temple in Tirupati to seek blessings for the film.
The Barefoot Climb: 3,550 Steps to the Top
Janhvi’s temple visits are a tradition before her major career milestones, but this time, she took the devotion up a notch.
The Route: Early Thursday morning, videos went viral showing Janhvi taking the traditional Alipiri footpath route.
The Companion: She was accompanied by her aunt, former actress Maheshwari.
The Trek: Dressed in a simple kurta-pyjama, plugging into her earphones, Janhvi climbed all 3,550 steps barefoot.
The Vibe: Grounded and humble. She took short breaks during the trek and warmly interacted with fans and fellow devotees who spotted her along the way.

Traditional Elegance for Darshan
After conquering the massive climb, Janhvi transitioned into a stunning, traditional look for the actual temple darshan. She was spotted inside the premises wearing a gorgeous purple silk saree, accessorized with a traditional waist belt (vaddanam), matching necklace, earrings, and bangles. Needless to say, the pictures instantly set social media on fire.
Meanwhile, at the Theatres: Pure Peddi Madness!
While Janhvi was seeking peace at the hills, theatres across South India were turning into absolute carnival zones.
The Mega Entry in Hyderabad: Ram Charan’s wife, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, joined the ultimate fan experience. She watched the film at the iconic Sree Ramulu Theatre, where she was seen cheering, whistling, and throwing confetti alongside a packed crowd.
Bengaluru on Fire: Fans gathered outside theatres from the early hours of the morning, celebrating with massive cut-outs of Ram Charan, bursting firecrackers, and dancing on the streets.
