PRITAM CHAKRABORTY’S FATHER PASSES AWAY
Bollywood music director, Pritam Chakraborty lost his father, Prabodh Chakraborty, at the age of 86 on May 24.
Prabodh Chakraborty had been in hospital for last three months. He has been ill for a while and was hospitalised for the last two years. “Pritam, his mother and sister were with Prabodh Chakraborty in the hospital till the end. He was suffering from Parkinson and Alzheimer,” as reported by media
His last rites were held on Sunday in Amboli with close family members. “Given the coronavirus spread, the entire family was responsible and all the religious formalities were done with minimal attendance of immediate family,” media reported.
While we couldn't reach the bereaved family for a comment, Kailash Kher has expressed his condolences to the musician’s family in a tweet.
