India Stands with Zira Wasim But No Support From Bollywood
Zaira Wasim, the Dhakad Girl from Super Hit movie Dangal has been on the target of Kashmiri Fanatics. She was hounded on Social Media for Working in the Film and meeting Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
Zaira the 16 year old could not take the bullying and apologised to the trolls. Dangal girl took to her Twitter and Facebook account, to pen her apology, but it seemed as if Zaira had been hounded and forced to write the apology, which she deleted later. (Read it here)
After this got reported in media, many people came in supprt of her and criticised the Extremist, many eminent Social worker, media personal came out in her support openly and Twitter and other Social Media was flooded with messages in her support but Bollywood was missing.
Few on the social media even urged to the Bollywood fraternity to stand with Zaira and speak against this radical Islamist, to our surprise the eminent director Anurag Kashyap equated this harassment with some daily troll and condemned the both without any mentions to the extremist.
This was the worsrt day of bollywood Fraternity, we have seen Bollywood always standing with their counterparts recently for ADHM, protest against Fawad, but no one to stand with this 16 year old.
Later Aamir Khan, Javed Akhtar, Madhur Bhandarkar, Swara Bhaskar came in support of the Zaira Wasim with tweets.
