Chand Mera Dil Box Office Day 6: Lakshya, Ananya Panday’s Romantic Drama Earns Over Rs 2 Cr; Inches Closer To Rs 20 Cr Mark

Vivek Soni’s Chand Mera Dil, starring Lakshya and Ananya Panday in the lead, released on Friday, May 22 and found a place for itself in the hearts of many. After earning over Rs 3 crore on its opening day, the romantic drama continued to show growth over its first weekend. ⁠A while ago, the makers took to social media and revealed that the Lakshya and Ananya Panday starrer earned an impressive Rs 2.01 crore on it’s first Thursday (Day 6). Combined with its earlier 5-day earnings, the film’s domestic NBOC currently amounts to Rs 18.96 crore. Sharing the numbers, they wrote, “Love this ख़ास feels like a warm. Thank you for showing up for Aarav & Chandni.”

Despite mixed reviews on Day 1, strong word of mouth recommendation among youngsters and GenZ is helping the momentum going for the film.

Giving the film a 4-star rating, Bollywood Bubble wrote in their review, “Ananya Panday and Lakshya-starrer is unlike any love story Bollywood has released in recent times.
