Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek test coronavirus positive.

Bollywood Megastar, Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive to COVID-19 and has been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital.

The news was released by the actor himself, through his official social media platforms, stating that those who have been in contact with him in the past few days should self-quarantine.

All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !

The 77 years actor was last seen in Gulabo Shitabo first direct to OTT released Bollywood film, also, he has shot some promotional videos for upcoming season of quiz show KBC in his residence where he came in contact with production team.

The actor has requested everyone who came in contact with him to go for self quarantine.

About an hour after Bachchan’s tweet, his son, Abhishek also announced that he was also positive to the coronavirus:

Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you. 🙏🏽

Mean while Aishwarya and Jaya Bachchan's reports are said to be negative, when contacted Nanavati hospital they refused to share any bulletin and said all future communications will be by Bachchan Family.

Fans and his colleagues from the film industry expressed concerns over the health of Amitabh, one of India’s most loved and best-known actors.
