Amy Jackson iPhone Got Hacked, Personal Pic Leaked Online
Amy Jackson's phone was hacked by a cyber-attacker and her personal pictures on the phone were leaked online.
Amy was facing some issue with her iCloud account and visited a local store in London to get it fixed. She was on a connecting flight from Mumbai to Chennai for the shoot of ‘Robot 2’ when she was surprised to found couple of her pictures leaked on social media and doing the rounds, only then actress realised her phone has been hacked.
As per the report in a leading daily, the automatic sync facility in Amy’s phone was on and all the pictures taken, got automatically synced onto iCloud account. When she was in London, Jackson couldn’t log into her account for a few days and sought help. "However, it was on February 7 when two pictures with her best friend having dinner appeared online that she realised her phone was hacked. She went to the service centre again before coming to India,"
Shocked by the incident, Amy, shall lodge a complaint with the cyber cell in Mumbai as well as in London. She was quoted saying, “I was shocked when this happened. This isn’t a trivial matter and has to be taken up seriously. I will register a complaint with the cyber-crime cell in London and ensure the hackers are taken to task. Cyber safety is the need of the hour,”
