Aksar 2 movie review round-up - Zareen Khan-starrer is a soft porn with no thrill

In 2006 Emraan Hashmi had stolen several hearts along with Dino Morea and Udita Goswami with their film Akshar.

Now, the second instalment of the movie Aksar 2 is released on Friday, November 17.

Akshar 2 stars Zareen Khan as the lead actress alongside two television actors – Gautam Rode and Abhinav Shukla.

Koimoi : "Aksar 2 could easily be skipped as I said – watch it only if you want to spend some quality time with your girl/guy. You can't watch Aksar 2 when you have a movie like Tumhari Sulu running along with it."

Bollywood Life : "Gautam Rode is effective as the greedy and sleazeball investment banker. The actor packs a punch. Zareen Khan also has an interesting role."

Bollywood Hungama: "Zareen Khan is strictly okay and though she is sizzling, it's done just for the heck of it. She tries to be the female Emraan Hashmi but it doesn't work for her. Performance-wise, she doesn't give her best shot. Gautam Rode looks dashing but his performance leaves a lot to be desired. He's shockingly hardly there in the second half. Abhinav Shukla tries too hard and looks too stylish for his character. Mohit Madaan is the best of the lot, especially when his character gets prominence. Lillete Dubey is decent. S Sreesanth (Gaurav), Rushad Rana (banker) and Denzil Smith (assassin) are strictly alright."
