Anupam Kher Tears Up While Reciting Phailega Humara Maun Poem To Kashmiri Pandits

On 27th Anniversary Kashmiri Pandit Exodus, Anupam Kher recited a Poem titled "Phailega Humara Maun" to the refugees in own land, Kher broke into tears while finishing the poem written by Dr. Sashi Shekhar Toshkani.

In his message Anupam Kher a Kashmiri Brahmin himself, said that the Pandits had suffered for years in silence and warned that "these voices will not be silent anymore".

Today marks the 27th migration anniversary of the Kashmiri Pandits, who fled from the Kashmir Valley to escape the mounting violence of the militancy.

Kher recited a poem written by the renowned Kashmiri poet, Dr. Sashi Shekhar Toshkani on Kashmiri Pandit Exudos, The poem start with 

"Our silence will spread all over the world...just like salt in an ocean... Our silence will demand answer for the torture we faced in our own homeland."
